Ramsey reminisces about the emotional highs and lows of her last high school football game. “It was truly a bittersweet experience”. She shared that the night was filled with excitement, but it was also sad knowing it was the last time she would be cheering for my school on the football field.
With the football season behind, Ramsey now looks forward to the upcoming basketball season. “I’m excited because basketball takes place indoors, which means we can stay warm!” The cheerleaders have already begun practicing their basketball cheers. “I enjoy learning new things so it’s fun to work on the cheers”.
Reflecting on the football team’s performance, Ramsey reflected on their hard work and spirit throughout the season. “They played their best and really kept their spirits up, which made us cheerleaders feel motivated too,” she states. To the underclassman cheerleaders entering their final year, “Enjoy every moment and take on leadership roles. It’s your last year of high school, so make the most of it!” This message reflects both the memories of the past and excitement for the future.
