Coach Joe has been part of the Wayne Christian family for three years. Throughout his time at WCS, he has coached ladies basketball and track. He also volunteered to help with girls soccer. Before coaching at WCS, he taught at Northland International University, and he also coached volleyball there 20 years ago.
He chose this position because he has a love for sports, and he loves seeing ladies succeed. Coach Joe stated, “I have four daughters of my own. I don’t think ladies get the credit they deserve, especially in athletics.”
We asked Coach Joe about atmosphere of the team. His responded, “The ladies get along very well, and they have a true love for each other. From what I can see on the court, they want each other to succeed, and they build each other up instead of tearing each other down.”
His goals for the team are to continue to get better this year and the following years. Thank you Coach Joe for your time and for letting us interview you!
