Welcome Mrs. Ilana Pugh!

We interviewed Mrs. Ilana Pugh (Mrs. Coach Pugh), an Intermediate P.E. Teacher and Softball Head Coach. We asked her a few questions about Wayne Christian and how her first year is going. 

This is Mrs. Pugh’s first year as a full time teacher at Wayne Christian, but she has also worked in the Daycare and volunteered as a softball coach for four years. We asked Mrs. Pugh what her favorite thing about teaching at Wayne Christian, and she said, “ The one thing I love about teaching here is that we have a lot of Bible integration here, and even though I teach PE there’s a lot to learn about God in the realm of fitness.” She also said that she loves the great environment and how we involve Christ in everything.

We asked her thoughts about the upcoming softball season. She stated, “I think that we’re going to have a new team this season, so I think that we’re going to have some work to do. I think that we’re going have to work hard and get dirty!”
