The JV Football Eagles have officially won half of the games in their schedule.
Last night on Thursday, September 19, the Eagles defeated Arendell Parrott Academy, 34-14. Did you see the Eagles beat Rocky Mount Academy by 20 points last week and think, “What if they did it again?” Yeah, they did it again.
This time, however, Brantley Ellis was the man of the night, scoring 3 touchdowns. After three weeks of Tyler Goodson smashing the scoreboard, that’s certainly a change of pace. Regardless of who did what, a point’s a point. 34 points to be exact.
Next week, the Eagles will travel to Raleigh to face St. David’s, who are 2-3 in their schedule. They will look to extend their undefeated streak to 5-0. It’s a little bit early to suggest that the Eagles could have an undefeated season, but if they continue playing like this, we wouldn’t rule it out.
