As the seasons change and the leaves turn orange it’s important to give thanks for everything Christ has blessed us with. Psalm 9:1-2 (NIV) “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Giving thanks is one of the many ways we can praise the Lord. Psalm 118:28-29 (NLT) “You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV) “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.” During this fall season we should praise God and remember to always give glory to God. Ephesians 4:32 (ESV) “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” When we think of everything we have this fall, have forgiveness and grace for those who have wronged you, because Jesus paid the ultimate price and forgave us.
