On Thursday, September 5, the JV Football team made quick work of Faith Christian, beating them 34-12.
It was an assertive offensive showing, especially for Tyler Goodson. He put up four touchdowns, including an outstanding 75-yard kickoff return! Brantley Ellis also contributed with a rushing touchdown as well. On the defensive side of things, Justice Weeks had a good night, recording 10 tackles and one sack.
The Eagles are now 2-0 for the season. They will look to maintain this forward march as they prepare to host Rocky Mount Academy next Thursday, September 12.
