It was a fun five weeks.
On Thursday, October 10, the JV Eagles’ 5-0 undefeated streak came to a close. Such a shame, we were having a real good time reporting on it. This season could have been like the 2007 New England Patriots.
It was a particularly unremarkable night for the offense, with the only two touchdowns coming from quarterback Sal Benkovics rushing it in himself. However, Justice Weeks was a standout on the defensive side, bagging 15 tackles and 2 sacks.
Unfortunately for John Paul Catholic, however, there wasn’t much time to savor this W. The night after, the Varsity Football team got their revenge on JPII, beating them 27-10. Eye for an eye.
